IP Protection - Internal Measures
While we endeavor to only hire employees possessing the utmost in integrity, ethics, and character, we have implemented additional measures to ensure that all information within HTG operations and its workforce are protected. The following described Internal Measures apply to operations and employees within the workplace at HTG. As you can see, we go to great lengths to ensure that our systems and workforce are doing their best to ensure IP Protection.
Non-Disclosure Agreements
Each employee is required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement guaranteeing that they will not share or disclose any system, operation, or pertinent information regarding your ideas and HTG operations including but not limited to suppliers, partners, products, strategies, and services.
Non-Compete Agreements
Each employee is required to sign a Non-Compete Agreement guaranteeing that they will not have any relationship or involvement, tangible or intangible, with any outside enterprise, person, or institution that may relate or compete in any capacity with HTG or its constituents and clients.
Separation of Data on Servers
All pertinent and confidential data in regards to client ideas and products, supply chain partners, and internal/external operations of HTG is distributed onto separate servers with limited and separated access by personnel and clients of HTG. This helps ensure that any malicious intent of any party able to access data can only use in part and not the whole, thus guaranteeing the safeguard of HTG’s clients and their ideas along with internal/external operations and constituents.
In-House Testing and Final Assembly
All final assembly of customer products is always done within HTG facilities under the oversight and observation of our internal Western Management. This helps ensure that outside parties, such as suppliers and factories, do not obtain the full knowledge or be in possession of our clients’ final product ideas. Our In-House Testing overseen by our Western Management Team also ensures that the product being delivered is what our clients want and not what happens all too often in China: The “Cha Bu Duo” approach which means “It’s close enough.”
International Management Team
Our Western International Management Team works closely and manages all the design and manufacturing projects of our clients. Having On-Site Western Management helps ensure you get the product you want with the security of its functionality and IP Protection. Instead of making many trips to China to “sort things out” as many overseas companies have to do when the product is not delivered correctly, our Management Team is pro-active to deliver your product as requested and designed in the time you need. And since there is no language barrier between us and our clients, any challenge is easily resolved in a timely and friendly manner.
Anti-Corruption Training
All employees at HTG are given and required to attend Anti-Corruption Training. This includes corruption awareness, ethics in the workplace, business relations ethics, and much more. We endeavor to train and thus, re-shape the face of China’s business culture through our standard business practices and ethics that focuses on Anti-Corruption. You can feel safe knowing that we require and train for Anti-Corruption at HTG.
Stable and Loyal Workforce
The Chinese business culture has a long history of high turnover in the workplace. This is because of the massive human resources available in the most populated country in the world. A “throw more people at the problem” mentality or “get new people” mentality has been long-standing in the Chinese business culture.
With our Western Management Team we understand that high turnover can be a quick downfall to any business. Not only is it very costly to constantly fire, hire, and train employees, but it is very dangerous as well. Investing in our employees’ development and success is one of our top priorities. This strategy also helps ensure the protection of our clients Intellectual Property as we do not have high turnover which can be a breeding ground for exposed ideas and inventions.
